Saphydose Gamma i

Dosimeter

The Saphydose γ-i is an isotropic electronic dosimeter that measures the Hp (10)  X and γ dose equivalent for the whole body. This device is designed for workers that work in controlled areas under the exposure of radiation such as Nuclear power plants, fuel reprocessing plants, research centers, hospitals, non-destructive testing services and civil services.

Description

The Saphydose Gamma i electronic dosimeter measures the Hp (10)  X and γ dose in real time. This device has a sturdy aluminium housing, high resistance to electromagnetic fields, long battery life, reliable and ergonomic. It can be used on its own or as part of a Saphymo dosimetry management system.

Measurement of X and gamma rays are made through a reliable dual silicon diode with a measurement range of dose equivalent from 1 µSv to 9999.9 mSv. This technology provides superior stability in comparison to standard GM dosimeters.

Saphydose Gamma i easy to use and durable device has a visible 5 scrolling alphanumeric LED display and has been tested at 10 shocks per side against steel and 10cm height drops. Use against electronic interference has also been verified at with an immunity of 30A/m at 50Hz magnetic fields. This device can work with either one or two AA batteries, and has a long battery autonomy of more than 4 years with 2 AA batteries.
