The Saphygate G range of Radiation Portal Monitors is specially designed to detect a wide range of radioactive sources in vehicles, even weak sources. This measurement system uses high volume plastic scintillator detectors which ensures sensitivity. Furthermore, its hermetic EMC shielded aluminium casing allows these radiation portal monitors to be used even in harsh weather and environmental conditions. Data obtained by these monitors can be accessed in 2 different configurations with multiple detectors depending on client requirements. Additionally, false alarm rates are effectively reduced by the new enhanced real-time gamma energy distribution algorithm which provides background compensation.
