Spectrometric System for Radiation Monitoring

Download Datasheet

Atomtex AT6105 system was designed for continuous and uninterrupted dosimetric and spectrometric radiation monitoring of facilities, land, wells and other sites.

Description

The Atomtex AT6105 Spectrometric System for Radiation Monitoring (SSRM) is a network of interconnected gamma radiation detection units with connection to a PC. Detection units are controlled and monitored by the “SSRM” software, which is responsible for collecting and displaying all measurement data on the PC screen. For single-channel variant (SSRM-АТ6105 with one detection unit) no switchboard unit is required. The system operates based on intermittent reading of dose rate measurement results and instrument spectrum of gamma radiation for each detection unit in the system. The measured spectrum is used to identify the composition of gamma radiation source. Light and sound alarms will be activated when specific radionuclides are detected or when the dose rate value measured by the detection unit exceeds thresholds.

Selected areas of application:

  • Well monitoring in radioactive waste disposal sites
  • Monitoring of radioactive and nuclear material waste repository areas
  • Part of radionuclide certification service
  • Induced-radioactivity well survey
  • Liquid radioactive waste monitoring
