Pulsed X-ray and Gamma Radiation Dosimeter

AT1121 AT1123

The Atomtex AT1121 and AT1123 are designed to measure continuous, short-term, and pulsed X-ray and gamma radiation within wide ranges of ambient dose equivalent rate and energy. Additional functions: detecting soft and hard gamma radiation sources, beta radiation sources, short-term and pulsed radiation with exposure time assessment, and detecting moving sources as well. The Atomtex AT1121 and AT1123 automatically logs maximum dose rate value for the time of operation and are able to store up to 999 measurement results in non-volatile memory for a long time and to subsequently transfer this data to PC. Dosimeters have a self-testing mode which is activated after switching-on as well as during dosimeter operation. External control panel and external alarm unit can be attached to dosimeters for remote monitoring application.

This sophisticated light weight NORM monitor is based on a silicon diode diffusion chamber with a sensitivity of 3 cph at 100 Bq/m³. The AlphaE Radon Gas Dosimeter is a continuous radon monitor for fast and time-resolved radon monitoring in buildings, outdoor as well as in mines. This instrument was developed in collaboration between Saphymo GmbH and the Helmholtz Center, Munich. Extensive measurements and site-tests performed by the Helmholtz Center as well as by key users have proven the validity of calibration and correct operation. The AlphaE’s outstanding price and performance ratio also makes it interesting for service companies active in radon assessment as well as for users in private homes. The Atomtex AT3509, AT3509A, AT3509B, and AT3509C are pocket-size wide-range intelligent devices that are accurate, functional, user-friendly, reliable, and cost-effective. The primary dosimeter function is to measure Ḣp(10)(10), Ḣp(10)(0.07) individual dose equivalent, and the secondary function is to measure Ḣp(10)(10), Ḣp(10)(0.07) dose rate of continuous X-ray and gamma radiation. The Atomtex AT3509 family of dosimeters provide dose range measurement in 7.5-order range and have sound and LED alarm functions. Accumulated dose data and dose accumulation history is saved in non-volatile memory when the device is powered off. Logged data from the Dosimeter can also be accessed by connection to PC, and the software suite makes it an efficient automated system for staff radiation exposure monitoring.

The Atomtex AT2503B, AT2503B/1 and AT2503B/2 are pocket-sized devices, which are accurate, easy to use and reliable. The primary dosimeter function is to measure Ḣp(10) individual dose equivalent. The secondary function is to measure Ḣp(10) individual dose equivalent rate of X-ray and gamma radiation. The Geiger Muller counter tube, with an energy compensating filter, is used as the detector. Intrinsic background metering and microprocessing provides high-accuracy measurement. Integrated non-volatile memory allows for the recording and saving of all accumulated dose data and dose accumulation history. The Atomtex AT2503B dosimeter range can be used with a PC via a software suite, which creates an efficient, automatic system for monitoring personnel dose rates and accumulated dose.

The Atomtex AT1103M is a highly-sensitive device that monitors for low-energy, low-intensity X-ray radiation exposure from devices such as video display units, night vision devices, oscillographs, TV receivers,  microwave emitters, ion implanters, search, and medical continuous X-ray apparatus.

A NaI(Tl) ø9×2 mm scintillator with a beryllium window is used in the dosimeter as an X-ray detector. The Atomtex AT1103M measures directed dose equivalent rate of continuous X-ray radiation with energy from 5 keV.

The Atomtex АТ1125 and AT1125A are equipped with NaI(Tl) scintillation detectors of high sensitivity and are able to rapidly respond to minor changes in the radiation background. “Spectrum-Dose” correction functions in an energy range from 0.05 to 3 MeV, which allows for highly accurate dose rate measurements in a wide range of gamma energies. Apart from the scintillation detector, the AT1125A Radiation Monitor is equipped with a Geiger-Muller tube (Geiger Counter) that significantly expands the range of ambient gamma radiation dose equivalent rate measurement. These devices allow for sample radiometric radionuclide content monitoring with lead protecting unit indoors and express-testing in field environment without lead protecting unit. Users may opt for an external BDPS-02 detection unit which allows for measurement of alpha and beta particle flux density from contaminated surfaces.

The Minitrace CSDF α, β and γ mobile contamination meter, is multipurpose instrument complete with contamination, survey and dose rate meter functions. It is designed to protect against uncontrolled distribution of radioactive materials. Various nuclides can be chosen from the inbuilt selection via activity and surface contamination modes. The surface contamination mode is calibrated according to ISO 7503-1. This device can be further configured with accessories that allow wipe tests (surface contamination) and food tests (food contamination) to be performed. A count up mode and mean value mode increases instrument accuracy.

Saphydose Gamma i

The Saphydose Gamma i electronic dosimeter measures the Hp (10)  X and γ dose in real time. This device has a sturdy aluminium housing, high resistance to electromagnetic fields, long battery life, reliable and ergonomic. It can be used on its own or as part of a Saphymo dosimetry management system.

Measurement of X and gamma rays are made through a reliable dual silicon diode with a measurement range of dose equivalent from 1 µSv to 9999.9 mSv. This technology provides superior stability in comparison to standard GM dosimeters.

Saphydose Gamma i easy to use and durable device has a visible 5 scrolling alphanumeric LED display and has been tested at 10 shocks per side against steel and 10cm height drops. Use against electronic interference has also been verified at with an immunity of 30A/m at 50Hz magnetic fields. This device can work with either one or two AA batteries, and has a long battery autonomy of more than 4 years with 2 AA batteries.
