The Atomtex AT6104DM and AT6104DM1 multifunction immersion spectrometers were designed to control for radioactive contamination of fresh and seawater, and bottom sediments for depths up to 500 meters utilising GPS-referencing, without the need for prior sampling and sample preparation.

Description

The Atomtex AT6104DM and AT6104DM1 monitor radioactive contamination in water and bed deposits of up to 500 meters. The detection unit is contained within a shock-resistant and watertight stainless steel container and registers gamma radiation of controlled radionuclides. The spectrometric data can be viewed easily on a tablet PC. Instrumental spectra processing algorithms in dedicated software are used for displaying radioisotope composition data and certain radionuclide volume activity. Ambient gamma radiation dose equivalent rate value in inspection point is
determined by instrument spectrum analysis with “spectrum-dose” operational function

The complete set consists of:

  • Portable computer,
  • Software, etc.

  • Records and stores on internal memory of up to 140,000 measured instrument spectra with subsequent reading option

  • Measurement data can be transmitted to PC for further detailed processing in dedicated software “GARM”
